The 2020 election will likely determine the nation’s path as we navigate the issues shattering our current world views. Social justice and economic inequality deserve our utmost attention this year. But we must not forget climate change and other environmental issues. Unfortunately, a national discussion is unlikely. Mostly we voters will be asked to base our political choices based on the party’s outdated or uninformed idealogical positions that will take us nowhere. What does it matter? COVID 19 shows us ignoring the natural juggernaut of change matters. Just as our response to COVID 19 could save or kill, so will our response to Climate Change. We need to have a more open dialogue free of predetermined ideological position. This section of my blog aims to help.
